1) Lemony Love

Tesco Finest Steillage Mosel Riesling (£6.99) is a delightful lemony sidekick for festive jam stars.

Blagger’s guide

The Mosel wine region of Germany is so steep, the grape pickers need to abseil down vineyards!

2) Aromatic Central

Asda Extra Alsace Gewurztraminer (£7.97) is a perfumed match for clementines.

Blagger’s guide

This is a clone of the Traminer grape, which originated in the Italian Alps 1,000 years ago.

3) Scrummy Honey

Bonterra Organic Muscat (£7.25, Ocado.com) gives Kransekake a honeyed high five.

Blagger’s guide

“Bonterra” means “good earth”, as these wines are made from organic grapes.
